The Clip platform has dispute and discrepancy resolution built into the platform. The customer will receive provisional credit for deposits within one business day.
Deposits are picked up periodically by Clip’s armoured carrier partner and money is counted under closed-circuit camera monitoring.
If a discrepancy is found between the amount declared and the actual amount processed from the bag, an email will be sent to the business owner outlining the specific amount a deposit is over or under the amount stated. A business owner will have 24 hours to dispute the discrepancy.
If there is no dispute Clip will inform the customer that the discrepancy amount will be debited or credited to their associated business account to reconcile the difference.
