Do I need a data plan to use Clip?

Internet connectivity is needed in order to scan the Clip deposit bag, select a deposit location, declare the bag contents, submit deposit details and receive any push messages related to deposit statuses.

A data plan is recommended, however, if WiFi is available it may be used in lieu of a data plan. 

No data connection is required to scan and drop the Clip deposit bag at the ClipDrop location.
